The new arrivals join goalkeepers Francis Uzoho and Stanley Nwabali, who reported earlier on Sunday, as head coach Éric Chelle continues to assemble his squad in Cairo.

More players are expected to arrive later on Monday, with the Super Eagles scheduled to hold their first official training session in the evening.

Friendly with Egypt ahead

Nigeria will face hosts Egypt in a preparatory friendly on Tuesday at the Cairo International Stadium, a key warm-up fixture ahead of the tournament.

The Pharaohs are still awaiting the arrival of some of their top stars, including Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush, although a significant number of players have already been training since the weekend.

Group C challenge awaits

At AFCON 2025, the Super Eagles have been drawn in Group C alongside Tanzania, Tunisia and Uganda.

Nigeria will begin their campaign against Tanzania at the Fez Stadium on December 23.
