AFCON 2025: Morocco Sets Up Semi-final Clash Against Senegal

It was a battle between two Lions when the host nation Morocco faced Cameroon in one of the entertaining quate-final fixtures of the AFCON 2025.

The Atlas Lions showed tactical discipline and maturity, controlling key moments of the game and capitalising on their chances to secure a deserved victory. Goals from Ibrahim Diaz and Saibari at either half of the game ensured that Morocco continued to leave a statement in the heart of every their fans host.

Morocco once again underlined why they are among the favourites for the title.

Their ability to balance defensive solidity with attacking efficiency proved decisive, as they neutralised their opponents’ threats while remaining dangerous going forward. This result puts iMorocco move one step closer to continental glory and will now turn their attention to a highly anticipated semi-final clash. Confidence is high

There is hope within the squad, and fans will be hopeful that the Atlas Lions can maintain their momentum and push on toward lifting the AFCON trophy.

This result also means that Morocco will face Senegal in the semi-final of the competition.
