Nigeria’s Super Eagles will pocket $2.5 million following their defeat to hosts Atlas Lions of Morocco in the semi-final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The other semi-finalists, Pharaohs of Egypt will also walk away with the same financial reward.

Hossam Hassan’s side fell 1-0 to the Teranga Lions of Senegal in their last four tie on Tuesday.

Nigeria and Egypt will battle for third position at the Stade Mohammed V, Casablanca on Saturday.

The tournament’s winner will be decided on Sunday, with Morocco, and Senegal battling for the ultimate prize.

The winner will go home with a record price money of $10 million, while the runner-up is set to earn $4 million.
