Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyeka, has issued a warning to Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, quarter-final opponents.

Onyeka said that he doesn’t care about Nigeria’s next opponents in the AFCON last-8 stage, adding that the Super Eagles are focused on themselves.

The Brentford star gave the warning after Nigeria’s AFCON Round of 16 huge 4-0 victory against Mozambique on Monday night.

Nigeria will face the winner between Algeria and DR Congo in the quarter-finals stage of the AFCON.

Algeria and DR Congo will battle it out in the last-16 clash on Tuesday evening.

“I don’t care what opponent. We are just focusing on ourselves,” Onyeka said at his post-match interview after the match at the Complexe Sportif de Fès.

“That is it,” he added. On his fitness ahead of Nigeria’s next game this weekend, Onyeka confirmed, “I’m fully fit.”
