Former Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel has predicted a very difficult game when Nigeria face Algeria in the AFCON quarter-final clash on Saturday.

Obi Mikel, who had captained the Super Eagles during his professional career as a footballer, also pointed out the intense nature of the Algerian team, noting their aggressive style of play.

“We’ve to make sure we approach the game the right way because it is going to be a very difficult game against Algeria,” he stated on the Obi One podcast.

“Algeria is a very good team; they play as a team. I’ve watched them a couple of times.

“Algeria are very aggressive, and they’ve quality players, so the Super Eagles need to be on their A-game.”
