The names of three players with the most passes breaking the opposition’s defensive line at the ongoing 2025 AFCON have been revealed.

According to OptaJoe, the three players are all Senegalese – Sadio Mane, Idrissa Gueye and Pape Gueye.

Mane has eleven passes, while the two Gueyes have eight passes each.

This is coming ahead of Senegal’s AFCON final clash against the host nation, Morocco.

Recall that the Teranga Lions qualified for the AFCON final after beating Egypt 1-0 in the semi-final on Wednesday, thanks to Mane’s goal.

Morocco, meanwhile, defeated Nigeria’s Super Eagles 4-2 on penalties after a goalless draw.
