Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has made four changes in his starting X1 for the highly anticipated clash with the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.

Vice-captain William Troost-Ekong is returning to the squad after missing Monday’s 1-0 win against the Djurtus of Guinea-Bissau due to a thigh injury.

Fulham’s Alex Iwobi will take the place of Joe Aribo in midfield.

Aribo, who made his first start in the competition, failed to shine against Guinea-Bissau.

Zaidu Sanusi is returning to the left-back position after he started the game against Guinea-Bissau from the bench.

Atalanta winger, Ademola Lookman is also preferred to Samuel Chukwueze in the starting line-up.

Super Eagles Starting XI (3-4-3)

Stanley Nwabali – Calvin Bassey, William Ekong (Captain), Semi Ajayi – Ola Aina, Zaidu Sanusi, Frank Onyeka, Alex Iwobi – Ademola Lookman, Victor Osimhen, Moses Simon
