Super Eagles and Fulham midfielder Alex Iwobi has sparked outrage online after sharing a video showing the deplorable living conditions of the Nigerian national team’s accommodation ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier playoff against Gabon.
In the now-viral clip posted on his social media, Iwobi gave fans a glimpse into the dilapidated state of the team’s hotel, where laundry was scattered, and signs of neglect and poor maintenance were evident.
