Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has added her voice to the growing number of celebrities showing support for her colleague Regina Daniels amid the ongoing strain in her marriage to Senator Ned Nwoko.
Following in the footsteps of Mercy Johnson, who previously defended Regina, Angela set aside past disagreements with the mother of two to express solidarity.
Commenting on a post about Regina’s marriage on Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop’s Instagram page, Angela wrote to her colleague:
“Chaii Justice for my baby Gina, we love you regardless.”
The two actresses previously clashed in June 2020 over Mercy Johnson. The dispute intensified when Angela accused Regina of marrying for financial gain, remarking, “You married a man who is supposed to be your great-grandfather,” and adding, “It is the only reason Daniel feels she can disrespect her.”
Regina responded, and the online disagreement lasted for several days. Angela later issued an apology to both Ned Nwoko and Mercy Johnson.
