Angry residents crucify bandit after failed operation in Zamfara community

Angry residents have captured and crucified a suspected bandit after a failed operation in Zamfara State.

The incident occurred in Bakura Local Government Area of the state.

It was gathered that armed bandits invaded Yargeda community on Friday night, December 12, 2025 and abducted three residents.

However while taking the victims through a forest, they passed through Rini village, they were intercepted by residents.

The bandits managed to escape for luck ran out on one suspect.

The suspect was tied up, and later lynched by the community before he was hung on a water tank structure.

Security analyst Zagazola Makama confirmed the incident on Monday, December 15.
