Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard could be leaving the club this summer.

The Norwegian international has reportedly received strong interest from Bayern Munich.

The 24-year-old midfielder is now one of the irreplaceable players at Emirates Stadium this season.

He joined Arsenal on a permanent deal from Real Madrid for £30 million in 2021 and has led his team to a surprising Premier League title charge this campaign.

He has scored 15 goals and made eight assists in 35 Premier League matches this season.

According to Todofichajes, Bayern Munich identified Odegaard as a potential long-term successor for Thomas Muller.

However, Odegaard has affirmed his intention of staying at Arsenal in the past. He told The Players’ Tribune: “I’m so proud to be captain of this club, and I feel like I’m going to be here a long time.”

Odegaard is currently valued in the region of £70 million
