AS Roma stars, Nemanja Matic and Tammy Abraham, made a bet on the Premier League title race this season between Arsenal and Manchester City.
This was disclosed by Matic, a former Manchester United and Chelsea midfielder.
According to Matic, he and Abraham had a bet in Roma’s dressing room on who between Arsenal and Man City will win the Premier League title this season.
Matic said he went for Man City, while Abraham picked Arsenal.
In an interview with Sky Sports, Matic said, “I think so [Haaland would be able to take Manchester City to a historic treble this season]. I had a bet in our dressing room with Tammy [Abraham] a few months ago.
“He says Arsenal will win, I said [Manchester] City will win.”
Matic added, “They have everything in their hands. They’ve experience of playing those kinds of games. One bad result can change everything, but City have more chances.”
