Afrobeats star Asake recently drew attention online after a video showed him assisting an elderly woman in a wheelchair at an airport terminal in Mecca during his Hajj pilgrimage.
In the viral clip, the singer was seen personally pushing the woman’s wheelchair through the terminal. Rather than leaving the task to aides or security, the musician chose to help her himself, carefully guiding her along as he moved through the airport.

The incident occurred while many Muslim pilgrims from around the world, including Nigerians, were in Saudi Arabia for the sacred pilgrimage. Asake has been among those openly participating in the spiritual journey.
Earlier, the “Lonely at the Top” hitmaker had also shared footage of himself performing Umrah, highlighting his commitment to his faith and marking the pilgrimage as an important personal experience.
