Many Nigerians including politicians Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, Atiku Abubakar, Rauf Aregbesola, Dino Melaye, Aisha Yesufu and others are currently staging a protest tagged ‘Save Democracy protest’ in front of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, office in Abuja

Many of the protesters are seen wearing “Operation Save Our Democracy” T-shirts, while others carried red and white placards with various messages on it including “INEC Chairman Amupitan must go”.

The protest comes days after INEC discontinued recognising the David Mark-led ADC leadership.
