Nigerian music stars Ayra Starr and Rema have hit a major milestone as their new collaboration, “WHO’S DAT GIRL,” reached one million YouTube views within eight hours of release.

The video, praised for its vibrant visuals and chemistry, has quickly become a fan favourite. Both Mavin Records artistes continue to solidify their spots as Afrobeats’ most dynamic young stars.

Fans flooded social media with admiration for Ayra Starr’s look and presence, calling her “goddess-like.” One fan gushed, “Nobody does female collaborations like Ayra Starr!” while another added, “Ayra is a Starr.”

Viewers also praised the smooth transition into Rema’s verse, describing it as the “defining moment” of the video. However, some were disappointed by the lack of a dance sequence, with one commenting, “That bridge had potential for a nasty dance break. Directors are getting sloppy.”

Others defended the minimalist choreography, saying it kept focus on the duo’s vocals and charisma.

Despite mixed reviews, “WHO’S DAT GIRL” continues to trend globally, further proving Ayra Starr and Rema’s dominance as Gen Z powerhouses shaping Afrobeats’ future.
