Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde has insisted that his teammates, Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Junior, both deserve the 2024 Ballon d’Or award.
Valverde, who described both players as incredible, jokingly said that he would split the Ballon d’Or in half and give it to Bellingham and Vinicius.
In a live chat with fans on The Residency app, the Uruguayan was asked who he thought deserved the golden ball.
He simply replied (via @MadridXtra on X): “Ballon d’Or to Vini Jr or Bellingham? I would split it in half. Both are incredible.”
