Manchester City star, Bernardo Silva has revealed what Cristiano Ronaldo normally does whenever he fails to win the Ballon d’Or award.
Silva revealed the 38-year-old’s obsession with being the best and winning the highly coveted individual award.
The Portugal captain has succeeded in winning the award five times during his legendary career.
Speaking with L’Equipe, Silva said his compatriot has never been content with his achievements and always insists he deserved more.
“I was in the selection two or three times when he won it. We congratulate him and we talk. When he doesn’t win, we’re not happy too because he’s a player who really likes to be on top.
“He talks to people: ‘I thought I deserved a little more’, a really competitive player, who is into this type of thing. He likes to be on top a lot .”
