Hulaira Hussaini Ardo, the senior wife of Fulani Chief, Malam Husaaini Ardo, has been shot dead by bandits after they collected N2 million ransom from the family in Kaduna State.
The bandits kidnapped the four wives of Ardo after invading his residence on Feb. 11, 2023.
Subsequently, the ransom (money and foodstuff) demanded for the release of the four wives was taken to the leader of the bandits in a forest between Kagarko and Kachia LGAs
Upon receiving the ransom, the leader of the bandits fatally shot the senior wife and set free the remaining three.
