Bandits have k!lled the commander of the Zurmi unit of the Zamfara State’s Community Protection Guards, Aliyu Isah Zurmi.
It was gathered that Aliyu and two soldiers lost their lives during a gun battle with the bandits.
A funeral was held for the deceased on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
The gallant commander was said to have been valiantly fighting terrorists, putting his life in danger for the safety and well-being of his community and the nation.
