Armed bandits have raided Gidan Dufe village in Kankara Local Government Area (LGA) of Katsina State, killing one woman, injuring several others, and rustling cattle.
Zagazola Makama learnt that the attack, which took place on Monday, was carried out by a group led by one Sanusi Dan Dutsinma.
Sources revealed that the group operates from its base in Babaro village, also within Kankara LGA.
The incident has sparked fear among residents, who called on security agencies to intensify efforts in tackling the activities of bandits in the area.
