#BBNaija S9: What to know about ‘No Loose Guard’ housemates

The ninth season of Big Brother Naija reality show kicked off on Sunday night with exciting new dynamics that saw the contestants enter the house in pairs.

14 pairs, a total of 28 housemates, were introduced by the host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.

Here are what you should know about the contestants:

1. ZinWe

The first pair of housemates, Chinwe and Zion, are in a five-month relationship. They are collectively called ZinWe.

2. The Radicals

The second pair are friends, Femi and Michky. They are collectively called The Radicals. The duo claimed during their introduction that they were “virgins.” They also revealed that they don’t have a winning strategy. According to them, they only have “vibes and more vibes.”

3. Floruish

The third pair of the night, Rhuthee and DJ Flo, have been best friends for 10 years. They are collectively called Floruish.

4. NdiNne

The fourth pair is a niece and her aunty―Chinne and Nne. They are collectively called NdiNne.
“We’re coming to show realness and authenticity and we’re bringing the heat,” the duo declared.

5. Aces

The fifth pair, Sooj and Topher, are colleagues who called themselves Aces.

“You’ll guess our move, but you won’t know our next move. Our strategy is unpredictability,” the duo said.

6. Shatoria

The sixth pair, Shaun and Victoria, are friends who met in Dubai in 2022. They are called Shatoria.

7. Wanni X Handi

The seventh duo of the night, Wanni and Handi, are identical twins from Kaduna. They are also DJs.

They are single and ready to mingle. Their collective is called Wanni X Handi.

8. BETA

The eighth pair, Tjay and Ben, met on Instagram. They are called Beta.

Tjay is married and has a daughter. Ben says he parties for a living.

9. Mbadiwe Twins

The ninth duo of the night is another pair of identical twins, Ocee and Ozee. They called themselves Mbadiwe Twins.

10. TAMI

The tenth duo are another pair of female friends, Damilola and Toyosi. They called themselves TAMI.

They met during their industrial training. They said they are open to relationships.

11. Nelita

The eleventh pair, Anita and Nelly have been friends for nine years. Nelita, they called themselves.

Nelly is a model, while Anita is a pole dancer. They met in 2015.

The duo said they are not interested in relationship in the house.

12. Streeze

The twelfth pair of the night, Mayor Frosh and Toby Forge, are friends who met at the University of Lagos.

They are known as Streeze. The duo said their only distraction in the house would be “beautiful ladies.”

13. Double Kay

The thirteenth pair, Kassia and Kellyrae, dated for 10 years and got married in February this year. They are called Double Kay.

Their strategy is not to tell the housemates they’re married.

“We’ll tell them we’re besties,” they said.

14. Chekas

The fourteen pair of the night, Onyeka and Chizoba, are friends who call themselves Chekas. Their strategy is to steal other housemates’ strategies.
