Benin Vs Nigeria: List Of Players In Camp Ahead Of WAFCON 2026 Qualifiers

Here are the players confirmed to be in camp for the Super Falcons of Nigeria ahead of their 2026 WAFCON qualifiers against Benin.

The WAFCON champions, Nigeria are set to begin their title defence campaign with the confirmation of players from their squad currently in camp ahead of the qualifiers scheduled against Benin Republic for October 2025.

The Super Falcons of Nigeria have officially kicked off their preparations for the 2025 WAFCON Qualifiers, with camp now open at the prestigious Hotel Sarakawa in Lome, Togo.

A number of key players have already arrived as the team begins early training for the qualifiers.

The first group in camp include:

  • Asisat Oshoala
  • Taiwo Afolabi
  • Folashade Ijamilusi
  • Miracle Usani
  • Joy Omewa
  • Aderline Mgbechi
  • Blessing Illivieda
  • Kafayat Mafisere

The atmosphere in camp is said to be focused and highly motivated, with the players eager to hit the ground running as they aim to secure Nigeria’s qualification in dominant fashion.

Team officials confirmed that more players are expected to arrive in the coming days, with full training sessions scheduled to begin once the entire squad has assembled.
