The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, has sparked a viral conversation after calling out an insensitive Master of Ceremonies (MC) who targeted her with “tall people” jokes at a recent event.
The former beauty queen, known for her height and poise, expressed her irritation at the comedian’s lack of common sense, suggesting he was unaware of her reputation for standing her ground.
Taking to social media, Ojukwu described how the MC attempted to use her physical stature as the butt of his jokes.
“There’s nothing more irritating than engaging folks with a devastating capacity to immunize themselves against any kind of commonsense… the comedian starts the usual ‘tall people’ rants… how tall people are arrogant; their heads are in the clouds… he was railing, all the while looking towards my direction. E be like say dis one dey new for town.”
She dismissed the performer’s credentials, labeling him a “nincompoop armed with a lethal microphone” who was boring a captive audience.
In a thinly veiled reference to her famous 2022 physical altercation with former Anambra First Lady Ebele Obiano, Ojukwu hinted that she was ready to “perform” for the MC.
“One thing he forgot to add is that tall people can also be very generous. It will be my singular pleasure, to step up to that stage, and personally deliver to him, an advance Christmas gift of a CD of just one of my greatest hits. When I touchdown, ósó ga eme.”
She further quipped that she is “harmonically talented” and could bring “sweet music to the ears, especially for ndi nti ike (the stubborn-eared).”
