Popular Nollywood star Bimbo Ademoye has announced plans to sponsor an in vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure for one of her female fans as part of activities marking her 35th birthday.
The actress shared the news in a video posted on her Instagram page on Friday, February 6, 2026. She explained that a beneficiary would be chosen from the comment section of the post, although the final decision would not be made by her personally.
Ademoye said the idea came after fans repeatedly contacted her to ask why she had not staged her customary birthday photoshoot. According to her, she felt worn out by photoshoots this year and opted instead to make a more impactful gesture by helping women facing fertility challenges.
Opening up about her journey, the actress revealed that she once made a personal vow to God that her movie Broken Hallelujah would hit at least 20 million views on YouTube. The film, released in April 2025, centres on a married couple dealing with infertility and motivated her decision to promise funding an IVF treatment for a fan.
Although Broken Hallelujah fell short of the target, Ademoye disclosed that another 2025 film, Where Love Lives, later crossed the 20-million-view mark. She admitted she was initially disappointed but thankful that a different love-themed project ultimately fulfilled the vow.

@teefeh_05:”Please, I’m humbly asking you to consider my sister for this blessing 🙏 She’s in her mid-40s and the first daughter in a family of five girls. My parents had me at an older age, so she practically became my mother she trained me in school, gives me allowance, pays both her rent and my parents’ house rent, and still supports them with feeding money from her small salary. She once tried starting IVF but had to stop because the bills were too heavy and there was nothing left to save after family responsibilities. I’m still in school and I’m doing my best to support by avoiding unnecessary expenses and fending for myself whenever I can, but it’s still not enough to cover something as big as IVF. She has sacrificed her whole life for us. This would mean everything to her and to our family. God bless you for this kindness ❤️.”
