Gay rights activist Bisi Alimi has taken a swipe at Nigerian pastors and evangelists, mocking them over the deaths of several clergymen who, according to him, spent years claiming to fight the devil.
In a post shared on Instagram, Alimi questioned why, despite decades of spiritual battles, these pastors and evangelists have not succeeded in defeating the devil, yet they are the ones dying while evil persists.
He suggested that the situation raises two possibilities either the pastors are not genuine, or the devil they claim to fight doesn’t exist.
Alimi’s post has since stirred reactions online, with many debating his views on religion and spirituality.
