Nigerian influencer and actress Papaya Ex (Abike Halima Raheem) has defended controversial crossdresser Bobrisky, claiming his persona is primarily for entertainment.
During an interview on Yanga 89.9 FM, Papaya Ex argued that the criticism surrounding Bobrisky’s gender expression is unnecessary because it is likely a phase rooted in content creation. She stated:
“If you’re mad at Bobrisky, you need to check yourself. I feel like he’s just having fun. Later in the future, Bobrisky will go back to being a father. For now, I think it’s all about content. People evolve with time.”
Her comments have sparked debate online, as many continue to question whether Bobrisky’s lifestyle is a permanent identity or a strategic business move.
