Former Big Brother Naija stars, including the show’s host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Pere Egbi, and Adekunle Olopade, have shared their thoughts on the disqualification of Faith Adewale from the reality show.
Faith’s journey came to an abrupt end after a heated clash with fellow housemate Sultana. The conflict arose during a task when Faith forcefully grabbed a basket from Sultana, causing her to fall and sustain an injury. This violation led Big Brother to remove him from the competition.
Reacting to the drama, Pere offered an analysis of the altercation. According to him, while both Faith and Sultana were wrong, their roles were not equally weighted. He explained that the basket represented more than just a prop it symbolized control. Faith, who had been actively working on the task, saw it as a marker of order and effort, while Sultana viewed it as a way to reclaim space and reinforce her relevance. Pere concluded that Faith’s response was excessive but noted that Sultana’s actions played a part in triggering the incident.
Adding his voice, Ebuka reminded fans that he had earlier cautioned housemates about how unpredictable the final week could become if they failed to tread carefully.
Adekunle, on his part, took to social media to share a subtle reaction, writing, “Pride goes before a fall.”
