Bayer Leverkusen head coach, Kasper Hjulmand has said Nathan Tella will return to action after the upcoming international break, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

Tella has been sidelined since sustaining a knee injury in Bayer Leverkusen’s 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt in September.

The Nigeria international has been training individually for the past few days but is yet to attain full fitness.

The Nigeria international is now expected to return to action at the end of the month.

“Nathan and Axel are already back on the pitch. Both are training [individually]. I think the international break over the next two weeks will help,” the gaffer was quoted by the club’s official website.

Tella has made four appearances across all competitions for Die Werkself this season with one assist to his name.
