Rivers United lost 1-0 against Mozambique’s Black Bulls in the first leg of their CAF Champions League second preliminary round tie in on Saturday.

The two teams failed to hit target in the first half despite creating scoring chances.

Moctar Diallo however netted the decisive goal in the 50th minute.

The reverse fixture will hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, next week Sunday.

The overall winners will proceed into the money spinning group stage of the competition.

Nigeria’s other representative in the CAF Champions League, Remo Stars, will take on Mamelodi Sundowns of South at the Moshood Abiola Sports Arena, Abeokuta, on Sunday.
