Rivers United technical adviser, Finidi George, has expressed his team’s readiness for the CAF Champions League matchday one clash with defending champions Pyramids FC.
The Pride of Rivers will do battle with the Pyramids FC at the 30 June Stadium, Cairo on Saturday(today).
Finidi said that he expect a good game against the Egyptian giants.
“We are looking forward to an interesting game against the defending champions,” Finidi stated in a pre-match interview.
“It is going to be a good game, the atmosphere is good and we looking forward to the game.”
Rivers United are competing in the group stage of the CAF Champions League for the first time.
