Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has promised that his team will give everything to beat Newcastle United and win the Carabao Cup when both teams clash in the final on Sunday at Wembley Stadium.

Ten Hag gave the promise following Man United’s Europa League playoff second-leg 2-1 win over Barcelona on Thursday night.

Two goals from Fred and Antony gave the Red Devils the victory over Barcelona at Old Trafford.

Speaking at his post-match press conference, Ten Hag said, “One by one. The Europa League? We don’t dream about European trophies. That is far ahead.

“On Sunday, we have a great opportunity to win a trophy [against Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley].

“We will give everything to win that trophy. From now on, our focus is on that game. It doesn’t matter to me [about the Europa League draw]. I focus on Newcastle United, it is the only thing that counts.”
