Nwaneri and Eze were impressive as Arsenal defeated Port Vale 2-0 in the Carabao Cup.

Goals from Eze and Leandro Trossard gave Mikel Arteta’s side the victory at Vale Park as they progressed to the fourth round of the competition.

Speaking on Sky Sports, Redknapp described Nwaneri as one of Arsenal’s sharpest players on the night, alongside Eze.

“Saka will get an hour and then change it, ready for the weekend at Newcastle. That game is so important.

“I have been impressed with Nwaneri; he’s been the sharpest of Arsenal’s players, and Eze,” Redknapp said.

Arsenal’s next game is against Newcastle United in the Premier League this weekend.
