CBN denies plans to shut down financial transactions from Thursday February 23 till Monday, February 27

The Central Bank of Nigeria CBN has described as fake news a viral Whatsapp message claiming the apex bank will be shutting down financial transactions from Thursday, February 23 till Monday, February 27.

The bank debunked this on its Instagram page.
