Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola names the club well positioned to win the UEFA Champions League this season

Zola reckoned that Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City will claim the title for the very first time in their history this term.

Manchester City have won the Premier League four times in the last five seasons.

But the Citizens have not been that successful in the Champions League with their second-place finish in the 2020-21 Champions League being as far as they have gone in the competition

Zola was asked to name his favourites to win the continental trophy this season and he responded Dario AS.

“I see Manchester City, but I hope Guardiola doesn’t read this because every year I say the same thing and it’s going to look like I’m jinxed (laughs). Bayern Munich also has a serious chance.”
