Chelsea legend, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has predicted the winner of the Champions League quarter final clash between Chelsea and Real Madrid.

The Champions League quarter final draw last Friday pitted Chelsea against the defending Champions, Real Madrid.

The Blues have endured a poor run of results under Graham Potter but appear to have turned a corner in recent weeks.

Chelsea beat German side, Borussia Dortmund to make it to the next stage, while Carlo Ancelotti’s side, who lifted a record-extending 14th Champions League title last season, defeated Liverpool in the previous round.

“If you want to win the Champions League, you have to beat the best,” 50-year-old Hasselbaink told The Hindustan Times when asked to rate Chelsea’s chances.

“It’s not going to be an easy game, but you have to believe. We have done it in the past and there’s no reason why we can’t do it again.”

Chelsea will face Aston Villa in their next game in the Premier League after the international break.
