Manchester United have received a double injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Bayern Munich on Wednesday.

Raphael Varane and Mason Mount were spotted in full training with the rest of the squad on Tuesday.

The duo could be in contention to feature against the Bundesliga champions, with manager Erik ten Hag expected to make the final call on their availability.

Mount started United’s first two games of the season following his £60 million summer move from Chelsea.

But the England midfielder picked up a hamstring injury that has seen him miss their last three matches.

Varane was in the starting XI for each of the Red Devils’ first three fixtures but was replaced at half-time in their 3-2 win against Nottingham Forest last month and has not played since.
