Paris Saint-Germain forward, Neymar Jr has confirmed he was involved in an argument with the club’s sporting director Luis Campos on Saturday.
The Brazilian, however, questioned how the information was exposed to the media.
PSG lost 3-1 at Monaco in Ligue 1 on Saturday.
After the game, reports claimed Neymar let out his frustrations at Campos and his team-mates in the dressing room.
Speaking ahead of PSG’s Champions League round-of-16 first leg against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, Neymar said: “It happened, a little discussion, we weren’t in agreement. It’s part of football.
“Football isn’t just love and friendship. There is respect, but there have to be disagreements and discussions sometimes are needed to help you improve.
“We are not used to losing, so of course when we lose matches, that can disturb us. But it’s part of the process of getting better.”
