Toyosi Etim Effiong, the wife of Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong, has given her personal thoughts on marriage and adultery, stating that cheating is not a deal-breaker for her.
She revealed the news on a recent episode of the Toke Moments podcast, where she talked openly about relationships, commitment, and the role of faith in marriage.
Toyosi’s attitude to marital issues is based on spirituality rather than quick separation.
She emphasized that rather than leaving her marriage due to adultery, she prioritizes faith, prayer, and spiritual direction as techniques for sustaining her relationship and strengthening her family.
She went on to say that a good marriage requires love, resilience, and intentional communication, as well as understanding and continual work from both spouses to develop and maintain a solid and long-lasting connection.

“Cheating is not a dealbreaker for me. I even created a prayer group, Wives of Entertainers Prayer Group, to pray for our husbands so that Jezebels will not carry them. I believe people can be lured, so in our prayer group, we pray.”
