Chelsea defender, Tosin Adarabioyo, has named former England centre-backs John Terry and Didier Drogba among his five football idols.

According to Adarabioyo, he admired Terry, Ferdinand, Zinedine Zidane, Didier Drogba and Ronaldo while growing up as a young footballer.

He stated this in a recent quickfire interview session with Chelsea’s official website.

When asked about his earliest football role models, Adarabioyo said: “When I was young I had a few role models, to be honest. Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, I loved Didier Drogba as well. So a fair few.”

Adarabioyo, who was born in London, started his professional career at Manchester City before moving to Fulham, and eventually to Chelsea as a free agent in the summer of 2024.

The 27-year-old has established himself as a key player under manager Enzo Maresca.
