Blue Ivy Carter, the 13-year-old daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z, sparked a flurry of comparisons to her famous mother after being spotted courtside with her dad on Wednesday at the Los Angeles Lakers vs. San Antonio Spurs game.

Fans quickly noted the resemblance, with social media users joking that “Beyoncé really copied and pasted herself” and that “Blue Ivy looks so much like her mom.”

The eldest daughter of the power couple showcased an effortless celebrity style, wearing baggy blue jeans paired with a leather jacket layered over a Mercedes-Benz shirt. She accessorized with strappy wedge sneakers, a sparkly silver Diesel purse, sunglasses, and a stack of necklaces.

Her trendy look was completed with long, straight waves featuring a blond ombré coloring at the ends, mascara, lip liner, and an intricate manicure. Jay-Z kept his look simple in an all-black ensemble.

The father-daughter duo were seen enjoying quality bonding time and posing for photos together at the Crypto.com Arena.

Blue Ivy has recently stepped more into the spotlight, making her stage debut alongside her mom in 2023, joining the backup dancers for “My Power” and “Black Parade” during Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” tour gig in Paris.

In other news…. Afrobeats star CKay has achieved a monumental milestone, becoming the first Nigerian artist to have a solo track surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify with his global hit, “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ah).”

The 2019 song, which gained massive popularity as a TikTok sensation two years later, recently crossed the billion-stream mark on the platform, securing CKay’s position as the first solo male African artist to reach this landmark.

The elated singer reacted to the achievement on his X handle:

“First solo nigerian song to cross 1 billion streams. Grateful to God and the people involved in this historic success! thank you for streaming.”

African Billion-Stream Milestones:
While CKay is the first Nigerian with a solo track, several other African artists have hit the billion-stream mark through collaborations or being the lead artist:

Wizkid: The first African artist to join the Spotify 1 billion club in 2017 through his collaboration on Drake’s “One Dance.”

Rema: The first African lead artist to have a song surpass 1 billion streams with the remix of his hit “Calm Down” featuring American superstar Selena Gomez.

Tyla: The first African female artist to join the Spotify 1 billion club with her viral solo hit “Water.”
