Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois has picked the top three goalkeepers in the world currently.
In an interview with Spanish radio station COPE, Courtois excluded himself and picked Jan Oblak (Atletico Madrid), David Raya (Arsenal) and Alisson Becker (Liverpool).
He said: “Currently… Jan Oblak is playing at a very high level this year.
“I really like Alisson, even though he’s injured. And I also really like David Raya.”
While Courtois counts himself among the best goalkeepers in the game, he insists his main focus is helping Real Madrid win games and lift major trophies.
“I’m certainly one of the best, but it depends on each person’s taste, and everyone is free to have their opinion,” Courtois added.
“Ultimately, what I have to do is help my club, and what people think [is up to them].”
