This means that the fuel retail outlet hiked its pump price by N100 per liter, the same margin Dangote Refinery had increased its gantry petrol price.

The MRS filling station, supported by Dangote Refinery, has raised its petrol pump price nationwide following last Friday’s increase in its gantry price to N1,175 per liter.

MRS filling stations in Abuja have adjusted their petrol to N1,267, up from N1,167 per liter.

This means that the fuel retail outlet hiked its pump price by N100 per liter, the same margin Dangote Refinery had increased its gantry petrol price.

A manager at MRS filling station, who preferred anonymity, confirmed the latest pump price to Daily Post, noting that it was due to a hike in gantry price by Dangote Refinery.

Earlier that Optima Filling Station had also adjusted its fuel price upward by N50 to N1,270 from N1,220 after Dangote Refinery announced a gantry price hike.

Meanwhile, Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited retail outlets sell petrol at N1,261, which is N6 and N9 cheaper than MRS and Optima Filling stations.

Other filling stations such as AA Rano, NIPCO, Eterna, Mobil, Empire Energy, and Raniol dispense PMS between N1,270 and N1,330 per liter in Abuja and environs.

This comes as crude oil price volatility persists due to the Iran-United States-Israel war escalation since February 28th, 2026.

Checks by Daily Post on Tuesday morning showed that Brent and West Texas Intermediate crude blends stood at $97.39 and $103.7 per barrel, respectively.
