Davido’s young niece, Maya daughter of his older brother, Adewale Adeleke has melted hearts online with a charming moment during the family’s Christmas getaway.
A video shared on social media shows Maya joyfully swimming while enjoying the holidays on Canouan Island. At one point, she asked her father to play a song by “uncle David,” referring to her famous uncle, Nigerian music sensation Davido.
Her request made Adewale Adeleke burst into laughter. He playfully asked which of Davido’s many hits she wanted to hear as she continued splashing around in the water.
The adorable clip quickly caught the attention of fans, who were reminded that Davido’s music is loved not only by his audience but also by his family.
