Nigerian singer Reekado Banks has taken to social media to remember the tragic events of October 20, 2020, at the Lekki Toll Gate, when peaceful #EndSARS protesters were allegedly shot by security forces.

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the artist wrote:
“October 20, 2020, something happen with the government. Dem think say we forget, for where? Mmmm…”

His post, which quickly gained thousands of views, served as a reminder of the day many Nigerian youths lost their lives and dreams while calling for an end to police brutality and bad governance.

Reekado Banks joins other celebrities and activists who have continued to honor the memory of victims of the #EndSARS protests, emphasizing that the movement remains a symbol of resilience and the demand for justice.
