Social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM) has issued a blunt warning to Nigerians living in the diaspora who are returning home for the festive “Detty December” celebrations.
Known for his unfiltered commentary on social issues, VDM urged travelers to be extremely cautious about their sexual health during the holiday season.
In a video addressing those coming from abroad, the activist warned that the excitement of the season often leads to reckless behavior that can have life-altering consequences.
He stated, “Some of you abroad might come back to Nigeria for detty December with a good health and go back in January with HIV/AIDS, prevention is better than cure.”
His message highlights a concern often raised during the December period, when high-energy parties, concerts, and social gatherings peak across major Nigerian cities.
