Actor IK Ogbonna has called out Nigerians criticizing former U.S. President Donald Trump over his recent remarks on the killings of Christians in Nigeria.
Taking to his Instagram page, the Nollywood star questioned why many Nigerians were opposing Trump’s threat to deploy U.S. forces to combat the terrorists responsible for the attacks.
Ogbonna wrote, “Do we want the terror group gone or not?”
He went on to emphasize that Nigeria, despite being a sovereign nation, has struggled for years to defeat insurgency. According to him, any genuine foreign intervention aimed at ending the violence should be welcomed rather than condemned.
