Nigerian striker, Uchenna Ogundu has joined Bundesliga club, Augsburg on a permanent transfer, NEWSUNPLUG reports.

The 19-year-old linked up with Augsburg from Turkish Super Lig club, Alanyaspor.

Ogundu signed a long-term contract with FCA until June 30, 2031.

It has been a remarkable rise for the youngster, who only joined Alanyaspor from another Turkish club, Sanliurfaspor last summer.

He scored five goals, and registered two assists in 20 appearances across all competition for Alanyaspor.

Ogundu will wear the number 39 jersey at Augsburg.
