Actress, Doris Ogala tearfully speaks out again, recounting her experience with the clergyman, Pastor Chris Okafor while clarifying the circumstances surrounding a viral video involving pastor Chris Okafor, stressing that the clip was not directed at her.
Recall that the actress had called out the pastor following news report of his impending marriage.
However, viral video of him speaking had been misinterpreted by many as referring to her.
Doris Ogala clarifies the video
In an emotional statement, Ogala explained that the video currently circulating online was recorded in 2023 during the period she was in a relationship with Okafor and should not be interpreted as a response to her recent outburst.
She appealed to the public to show empathy rather than ridicule, noting that she is going through a difficult mental and emotional phase.
The actress disclosed that her relationship with Okafor left her deeply distressed, alleging that she suffered multiple ordeals while dealing with him.
Doris Ogala alleges Chris Okafor arrested her
According to her, she was once contracted to assist him and his associates, but the situation later turned sour. She claimed that she was arrested and detained at the State Criminal Investigation Department in Owerri just days before her brother’s burial, an experience she described as traumatic.
Ogala further alleged that the arrest stemmed from a financial dispute involving one of Okafor’s associates, who had given her money. She said after repeatedly demanding the funds, she was partially paid and later arrested on allegations of defamation.
Expressing concern about her current state of mind, the actress admitted that speaking out took immense courage and said she felt compelled to share her side of the story from the depth of her heart. She urged the public to be mindful when reacting to people facing emotional struggles.

Chris did a lot to me. Chris contracted me to help him and his friends. What did he pay me back with? He arrested me. He also arrested me 4 days to my brother’s burial and kept me in state CID in Owerri for 2 days. Because his friend gave me money and he took the money. I started asking for the money, he paid me small and got me arrested for defamation. Chris has done a lot of things to me. I am not stable. I am saying this from the bottom of my heart. It took me a lot to say all this.”
