Former Big Brother Naija winner, Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, popularly known as Phyna, was recently involved in a physical altercation at a hotel in Abuja.
According to reports, the fight allegedly started over a financial dispute involving ₦200,000. The disagreement reportedly began in Phyna’s hotel room in the early hours of Tuesday before spilling into the lobby, drawing the attention of guests and hotel staff.
Witnesses claim that the argument escalated when neither side was willing to compromise, leading to a heated shouting match and eventually physical confrontation. The situation reportedly worsened as more people connected to both parties got involved, causing chaos within the hotel premises.
Security personnel and police officers were later called to the scene and had to use teargas to bring the situation under control.
This incident comes just weeks after Phyna made a return to the spotlight following a short hiatus to mourn her sister, who tragically passed away in an accident involving a Dangote truck.
