Drama has erupted online between the first and second wives of Delta businessman Lawrence Emareyo over allegations surrounding the payment of his children’s school fees.

The dispute reportedly began after one of the women accused Emareyo of refusing to continue paying the children’s school fees despite allegedly spending heavily on other projects and gifts.

In a series of posts, she claimed that the businessman had withdrawn the children from their school and allegedly asked that they be returned to a school they left more than four years ago.

She wrote, “Me and these children go kuku start home schooling with television, as my own mental state is still healing and as their papa say e no fit pay school fees again for school e put them when e head correct.”

She further alleged that Emareyo had recently bought one of his staff members a new car and distributed iPhones and other gifts across Delta State.

“Same man bought his staff a brand new car two days ago alongside iPhones and other gifts he distributed all over Delta State,” she alleged

However, the businessman’s second wife fired back, warning her not to involve her in a matter she claimed to know nothing about.

“Don’t involve me in what I know nothing about. The online sympathy you’re getting is like you don’t like it,” she wrote.

She also warned that social media users supporting her might eventually turn against her if they knew the full story.

“Online people that will clap for you today will shame you tomorrow once they know the whole truth. So use your tongue to count your teeth and never address me the way you did.”

The second wife further claimed that people were trying to protect the first wife’s reputation because of the children involved, while insisting that she should be left out of the dispute.
